ISS Supported Hardware
ISS recommends GW staff have these minimum hardware and software specifications for GW’s administrative and enterprise applications. (Banner, EAS, Kronos) If possible, departments are encouraged to purchase computer(s) that exceed these minimums.
ISS is coordinating the purchases of new computers in order to reduce cost. Departments are asked to participate in GW’s Bulk Buy program, http://iss.gwu.edu/issservices/bulkbuy, by contacting bulkbuy@gwu.edu.

Important Information for GW Faculty and Staff about Apple iPhone
The newly released Apple iPhone is a consumer-oriented device and is not designed to function securely inside an enterprise environment. Any GW Faculty or Staff considering its purchase should be aware that it will not, at least in the near term, be supported at GW for work/business use.
ISS will continue to monitor Apple and AT&T's progress with this product roll-out and will revisit supporting the iPhone as the technology matures.
