What Is VPN?
How Tos
Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a way to securly connect to GW's network over the internet. GW's VPN client give you access to computing resources typically limited to on campus use.

Login with your NetID username and password and download the desktop VPN client for Windows XP and Mac OS 10.2 or higher.

This desktop VPN software may only be downloaded by those who have either an active GW student, staff, and/or faculty role. However, anyone using either the Internet Explorer or Safari web browser with an active GW NetID may use the safe alternative web-based VPN software that is located at http://vpn.gwu.edu.

Note: After a successful connection, browsing may be performed within other browsers.
