Configuring GWireless for Windows XP

This document will walk you through configuring your Windows XP computer for wireless internet access to GW's wireless network, GWireless.


Before you Begin ...
... You must ...
  1. ... have a wireless card installed on your computer.
  2. ... have downloaded and installed the GWireless VPN software for Windows XP

Configuring GWireless VPN for Windows XP
The GWireless VPN client for Windows XP is pre-configured for use with GW's wireless network. All you have to do is ...

1. Click on Start > Programs > GW GBUSSNet Client 4.6 > GBUSSNet Dialer 4.6 to bring up the connection window:

2. Click Connect and enter your NetID (your email address without the @gwu.edu) and password when prompted for internet access.
