Mac OS and Windows® Based FTP: Please see the WS_FTP and Fetch manuals for FTP instructions.

UNIX Command Line Data Transfers: We recommend that your combine the files using the tar command, compress the file with gzip and then ftp them.

Tar - combine a lot of data files into one
GZip - compress tar files or data files
FTP - transfer files
