Before You Begin

Ascertain that you have Outlook for Windows installed on your computer. This plugin works on Outlook (not Outlook Express!) on Windows only.

» No Outlook or you rather not install this plugin? You can submit message headers to us and we will pass them to the spam filtering software vendor.

Installing BrightMail Plugin For Outlook

» Download BrightMail Plugin

Double-click the downloaded file to unzip it. It will uncompress into a BMOP_201 folder. From this folder, double-click setup.exe to install

BrightMail Outlook Plugin

» Message Incorrectly Marked As Spam: If a message(s) you receive is incorrectly marked as spam, click the message and select "This is Not Spam"

This Is Not Spam Image

» Message Not Marked As Spam: If a message(s) you see is not marked as spam, click the message and select "This is Spam"

This Is Spam Image

This sends updates to the spam filtering software vendor, who then updates the spam filtering signatures as necessary.
