1. From the Home screen, tap Settings, then Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then Add Account...
2. Tap Other
3. Tap Add Mail Account
4. Enter your Name, Email Address (jsmith@gwise.gwu.edu), Password, Description
5. Tap Save
6. Make sure that IMAP is selected
7. Under Incoming Mail Server enter the following
   • Host Name: imap.nw.gwu.edu
   • User Name: JSmith
   • Password
8. Under Outgoing Mail Server enter the following
   • Host Name: smtp.gwu.edu
   • User Name: NetID
   • Password
9. Tap Save
10. When prompted with "Cannot Connect Using SSL: Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?" Tap Yes
11. Tap OK
12. Under Accounts tap on the mail account you just added
13. Scroll down and tap on Advanced
14. Under Incoming Settings tap Use SSL switch so it displays ON
15. Make sure Authentication is set to Password
16. Change Server Port to 993
17. Tap the Back Arrow
18. Tap Done
